Annie Rutherford

© Perry Jonsson

Annie Rutherford makes things with words and champions poetry and translated literature in all its guises. A writer, translator and events organiser, she’s currently researching the possibility of setting up a Writers in Exile residency in Edinburgh. Annie co-hosts Free Vers(e), an occasional podcast on queer poetry, and is currently fictions editor for The Interpreter’s House. She previously co-founded and edited the international literary magazine Far Off Places, as well as co-founding and co-organising the first ever Poetree Festival in Göttingen. She can spot a misplaced apostrophe at a distance of 50 meters.
